About this project
SoundView needed a way to make years of internal technical documents, reports, and operational knowledge instantly accessible to their team – without sending sensitive company data to a public AI tool.
We built them a private, self-hosted AI assistant that works like a secure internal version of ChatGPT, trained only on SoundView’s own documents, running entirely on their own server. Their data never leaves their infrastructure.
What It Does
- Lets any authorised team member ask a question in plain language and get an accurate answer instantly — sourced from the company’s own documents.
- Processes uploaded PDFs and Word documents automatically, including scanned files, making them fully searchable by AI.
- Provides cited responses — every answer references the source document, page, and section, so the team can verify information directly.
- Supports multiple languages — the system detects the language of the question and responds accordingly, useful for international teams.
- Gives administrators full control over who has access, what documents are uploaded, and how the knowledge base is organised.
- Scales from a few hundred documents to 10,000+ files without any architectural changes.
